Matts doodles and paintings

Wiped out from staying up until 4 doing my painting... so I only spent about 15 minutes drawing some quick technical looking shapes before bed... I want to strat doing lots of things like this, as at the moment I am shit at drawing technical stuff

Nice start.. I need to work on that sort of thing too. So much to do!
You know what I'm oddly and distressingly bad at? Effing perspective. So simple, yet everytime I try to work out a scene, my brain goes all haywire and I can't remember how to do it properly. Aragh!

I know, which is why it's so absurd. I guess I just don't have cause to use it often, bloody portraits and all.

Blender does perspective for me! Haha...

Back on topic...I think the tech sketches look pretty great! I dunno what you mean by "I am shit at drawing technical stuff." You totally aren't.

painter is nice for some things... but I ahve trouble doing tighter lookingpaintings in it... everything turns out soft in painter
