Andy WIP Art Battle Thread thingy for Invaders prompt.

So this is my "work in progress". Mainly I just wanted to show what Im going for. So there.

After many years of inactivity, age and junkfood have left our Invader friend a little changed.

you sculpting this in Zbrush? i'm intrigued to what could be done with a space invader


you need to put a framed picture on the wall that is a screenshot from space invaders, kinda like a class photo just showing the lined up invaders

That is exactly what im doing! Great minds, man, great minds.
And yes, I took him from maya to zbrush for some fatification. I kept debating on whether to make him look more smooth, or keep him pixeled.

if you wanted to sculpt on some details and keep it pixilated you could turn off the smooth option in the geometry tab for subdivisions, that way you will keep the hard edges, but will still get more geometry to sculpt on

Adding lights and shadows.




Still need to add the lights on the invader and on the chair. The tv, I 'll get to that.
